Where can I site my hot tub?
Where do you want to? A hot tub can be installed indoors (providing there is adequate ventilation) or outside - in your garden,
on your terrace, balcony or rooftop. While your body soaks you soak up those great views in the Balearics.
Can I sink my hot tub into the ground?
Yes, many of our customers have chosen this option, as all of the workings are inside the cabinet, there is no need to
take up extra space and build filter and pump rooms.
Can you use the spas in the winter?
Yes, spas are built for use all year round, a lovely, warm bubbly soak in the winter months or a cool invigorating dip in the summer.
How do I change the temperature?
Set your own desired temperature at the touch of a button, anything from 26ºC to 40ºC. |

Do I need any expensive upgrades to my electricity supply?
No, not with HotSpring spas - all that is required is a socket connected to a normal 220V supply.
Do I need planning permission for my hot tub?
No, unlike swimming pools which need planning permission, a hot tub is classed as portable - if you move, your hot tub moves with you.
How much does a HotSpring spa cost to run?
Here's the good bit - our biggest model, the 7 seat Grandee costs less than €1 per day using it for an hour per day (half an hour
with jets and maintaining a constant temperature of 35º to 40ºC). You cannot find a more energy efficient hot tub in the marketplace
and being the cheapest spa to run of any spas available, a HotSpring spa will save you literally hundreds of euros on your annual

Is there a lot of work involved in maintaining my hot tub?
No, due to the unique filtration system and built in ozonators - just a few minutes a week will keep your hot tub water clean and
crystal clear.
What if I don't live here year round, how do I maintain my hot tub?
At HotSpring Mallorca we offer various inexpensive maintenance programmes, so you do not need to worry - just look forward to relaxing in
your hot tub on arrival!
Does more jets mean better?
No, often more jets means less power as the available water is pushed out of more holes.
Do your spas have air jets?
HotSpring spas do not have any air jets inside them. We believe they cause numerous problems such as cooling down the water
temperature, which means your heater will be heating more and your running costs will increase. Also air jets are normally very noisy.
How will a hot tub benefit me?
A hot tub is essential for your health and general well being. When you consider the beneficial effects of hydromassage on sore
muscles, stiff joints and circulation it's no wonder that many people affected by arthritis start and end their day with a soak
in a HotSpring spa. Just think ... your own private retreat that leaves you feeling mentally and emotionally refreshed - 15 minutes
